Chemistry Department was established by means of establishing of Sakarya University Faculty of Science and Letters at 3 July 1992. Education language is Turkish but also English preparation class is optionel. The Chemistry Department started to education and training at 1994 and graduated first students at 1998. The Chemistry Department has a rich academic staff at Analitical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physicochemistry and Organic Chemistry departments. Licence, post graduate and doctorate education are given and also various research projects are carrying out.
